The G903 cost more than the G604/G502 and I didn't see the point in an ambidextrous mouse since, despite being left handed, I always use my right hand for the mouse. The Razer Pro Click Mini might have worked in theory, but looking at it it was obviously it was WAY too small for my hands/grip style as a daily driver. Although gaming is really a secondary concern over comfort and features for me, I did want something that didn't totally suck at it, so that excluded Master/Anywhere. As far as I can tell, just the MX Master/Anywhere line of Logitech mice, the G502, G604, and G903, and the Razer Pro Click Mini. In addition, my hands are large, grip is usually a mix of palm and claw, and use case is about 80% productivity (data work, coding, office tools) and about 20% causal gaming (typically single player, non-competitive).įirst off, there are very, very few mice that actually have both of these things. After a few days of switching between the two and probably at least a dozen or so hours on each, here are my thought on the differences and pros and cons of these two mice.įor context, my primary criteria were hyperscroll and wireless. So swapping from wireless to BT is not straight forward, you need to have one extra DPI value in your buttons to swap that too. DPI should be compensated as you change from wireless to BT.Īt 500, wireless behaves fine at my desired 4000 DPIĪt 125, BT moves much faster at the same DPI. I hope Logitech is working on that so I can leave my mouse in BT mode when I'm not gaming. My problem is that is inconsistent when it comes to connecting. Sometimes it works fine, the tracking is noticeably inferior but good enough for desktop use. The BT mode suck even with a strong BT receiver with its antennaes on top of the mouse 50cm away. I went into the mouse and fixed it but it was a major PITA. Very stiff and noisy wheel when in ratchet mode. I don't like I cannot save them in my drive. I like the fact you can connect to a server and save / load profiles. G Hub, while it needs work it is fully functional in my user case. i have bumped my 602 against thing and click by mistake. The mouse ending on a tip is a good idea. internal batteries suck! you don't want downtime just cause eventually you need to wait for an internal battery to load. More comfortable and less stiff side buttons. ![]() This one could be a tad lighter still, but is not a deal breaker. It is a tad lighter than the 602 (both with batteries in), I do not like super light mice, they feel cheap to me. I found the 604 has everything the 602 doesn't have. Tried also playing Starcraft II which requires steady hands when it comes to microing and worked like a charm.
